পরবর্তীতে ইকরিমার বোন নবী ﷺ–এর কাছে তার জন্য সুপারিশ করেন। রাসূলুল্লাহ ﷺ সুপারিশ গ্রহণ করেন এবং পরে ইকরিমা ইসলাম গ্রহণ করে সাহাবায়ে কেরামের কাতারে যোগ দেন।
