Mataf Dua

8 places in Holy Kaaba-Makkah where “dua” is accepted

Makkah where “dua” is accepted. In the heart of Makkah, amidst the sacred atmosphere that enshrouds Masjid al-Haram, our journey began. We were a group of individuals drawn from various corners of the globe by faith and devotion, united in our love for this holy city and its unparalleled significance in Islam.

Our individual experiences within these blessed Holy Kaaba Dua Acceptance precincts shared a common, profound realization: although Allah accepts supplications made from any corner of this vast sanctuary, there are certain spots touched by an indescribable sense of peace and closeness to the Divine, where one feels their dua is directly heard. This realization ignited a deep desire within us to create something meaningful—a service that would guide believers to these special places so their prayers too could ascend unobstructed towards the heavens Places in Holy Kaaba.

Every brick of Masjid al-Haram seemed infused with stories waiting to be told, every stone pathway appeared laden with centuries-old secrets about being closer to Allah’s mercy. We learned through heartfelt conversations with seasoned pilgrims and revered scholars about these unique spots—each resonant with history and spiritual potency where du’a (supplication) becomes a more intimate dialogue with our Creator. The solemn whispers between a believer and their Lord at these sanctified places deserved recognition; they called out for a means to be shared among Muslims worldwide who yearned for that ineffable feeling of being heard unequivocally.

Mataf is the place where Tawaf is performed around the Holy Kaaba. It is said that all your duas are accepted while performing Tawaf in Mataf. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite the following dua while performing Tawaf between Rukn Yamani and Hajr-e-Aswad.

Multazam is an area that Hajr-e-Aswad borders on one side and the door of Kaaba on the other.

When you are done performing Tawaf around the Holy Kaaba, you should come to this point, place your hands there, and make dua.

Hateem has a great history, and the reward for praying here is equivalent to praying inside the Holy Kaaba. Hijr-Ismail is yet again a Holy place where duas are accepted.

Hajr-e-Aswad was brought down from heaven (Jannah) and was presented to Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام so that he could place it in the corner of the Kaaba.

If you can kiss the black stone, make dua as it is said to be always accepted. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite the following dua whenever he passed by Hajr-e-Aswad: بسم الله والله اكبر

Even though the doors of the Holy Kaaba are never opened to the public, the officials and the Royals can go inside it. The dua made inside the Holy Kaaba is always accepted.

Meezab e Rehmat is a gold spout on the top of the Holy Kaaba between Rukn e Iraqi and Rukn e Shami from where rainwater tumbles onto Hijr Ismail.

It is also said that Allah accepts every dua and supplication made under Meezab-e-Rehmat.

While performing Umrah, Muslims walk between Safa and Marwa mountains and it is said that a dua made during Saee is never rejected. Seven runs are made between the hills to honor the mother of Prophet Ismail عليه السلام, his mother Hajra عليه السلام.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite the following Dua before starting the Saee between Safa and Marwa. – Muslim 2/888.

I begin with what Allah began with. Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without a partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, aided His Servant, and single-handedly defeated the Allies.
